EdúcaTE Yucatán AC Extracurricular Academic Program

 

The EdúcaTE Yucatán AC Extracurricular Academic Program is designed to provide personalized tutoring to students in the community, in order to reinforce their learning and improve their academic performance.

 

Program Objective

 

The main goal is to reduce educational disadvantage by focusing on key subjects such as mathematics and literacy. Additionally, English language instruction is offered as an optional course, a tool that opens doors to new educational and professional opportunities. These three elements can make all the difference toward a promising academic future.

 

Class Structure

 

• Literacy: Classes are multi-grade, offered by school level: primary, secondary, and high school.

• Mathematics: Classes are offered by grade level, from third grade of elementary school through eleventh grade of high school. We also have a tutoring program for children who have fallen behind due to the pandemic.

• English: It is offered at two levels, basic and intermediate, so that each student can learn according to their own pace and prior knowledge.

 

Frequency of Sessions

 

Each student has the opportunity to attend 4 weekly classes (4.5 hours) which include:

• A math session

• A reading and writing session

• Two English sessions (basic or intermediate, as appropriate)

 

This schedule ensures comprehensive and consistent academic support to improve students' skills.

You can contribute to a student's academic progress through the following donation options:

 

• For one school semester: $2,400 pesos

• For a complete school year: $4,800 pesos
